It all began with my massage therapy business.

I had a Masters in Marketing and prior experience as a marketer, but quite frankly the 9-5 life wasn’t for me. So I pursued my own massage therapy practice.

I built my own website for my practice, leading to other small business owners asking for help with their websites. They often felt overwhelmed, incapable (sometimes incompetent), and always frustrated when they would reach out. So I helped!

Fast forward 5 years, and I’ve found my speciality and passion creating websites for other service providers. 

Why? Because I’ve also found myself repeatedly feeling overwhelmed and incapable when it’s come to tasks in my own business that are NOT my area of expertise.

includes everything you need for a beautiful, strategy-based website - without you having to manage multiple service providers.

We start with a Brand Questionnaire and Brand Interview so I get to the heart of your brand to create a website strategy to attract and convert.

This includes:

  • Identifying your ideal client

  • Mapping out your visitors’ journey

  • Clarifying your brand voice and messaging

  • Identifying any opportunities to automate processes

COPY & BRANDING

I use what I learned in Phase 1 to design your branding and write copy that will turn website visitors into clients.

This includes:

  • Drafting each page of copy for your website

  • Designing you brand kit (logo, colors, fonts)

  • Getting your feedback and approval

  • Gathering additional assets

DESIGN & INTEGRATION

I design your new website – on the Squarespace platform - with your new copy and branding.

This includes:

  • Designing & building your homepage

  • Getting your feedback and approval

  • Designing & building additional pages

  • Setting up additional integrations (email list signup form, booking app, CRM, lead form, etc.) and SEO

LAUNCH & TRAINING

We launch your site (!!), and I give you access to a custom training video, so you can confidently take over your new, beautiful website.

  • Moving your domain (if necessary)

  • Giving you access to training video

  • Transferring website ownership

Rebecca Keefe Kwasnick CPA, PLLC a.k.a. RKK CPA 

When we first started working together, RKK CPA was a team of 2 headed by Rebecca, who provided tax and accounting services to individuals and small businesses. She had decided to niche down to real estate brokers and brokerage firms and needed her DIY website updated to speak directly to that new audience.

Rebecca is goal-oriented, and she brings this skill and her past experience to her work with clients. She excels at seeing the whole picture for her clients - their goals both professional and personal - and ensuring it is all taken into consideration when making all financial recommendations, not just how to save them taxes.

The project:

I started with branding and copy that showed Rebecca and her team as straightforward and knowledgeable about accounting and taxes in the real estate space as well as professional with a personal touch. 

I designed her website to easily lead her audience through the process of learning more about her work and book a discovery call to begin their engagement. I also created a services page for each of her two audiences and made the navigation easy for visitors to find the information pertinent to them.

  • If you already have professional website copy and/or branding, I do have a BYOB (Bring Your Own Branding) Package that might just be perfect for you!

    If you need a feature you need that is not included in my Complete Website Package, I am more than happy to discuss it with you and offer a custom quote if we're a good fit to work together.

  • Squarespace! I’ve been building websites on Squarespace (including my own) for 5 years, and it’s perfect for bookkeepers and accountants who are solopreneurs or small businesses.

    A subscription includes everything you need for your website, and after watching the custom training video I provide at the end of our project, you’ll be able to easily and confidently take ownership of your new website.

  • Absolutely! I’ll build your new website on the Squarespace platform and even help move your domain over to your new website.

  • A website is your business’s online home and the cornerstone of your marketing, but it’s also a big investment. If your business is brand new and/or you haven’t quite identified your niche or service offerings, it might not be the right time for us to work together.

    I think it’s great to start with a DIY website to help you gain clarity in your business and to know what it takes to build a website. If you’d like my eyes on your DIY website, I offer Website Audits here.

  • As part of the Complete Website Package, you have my support for 2 weeks after we launch your website - as both a QA period (I’m human, so sometimes I make mistakes) and a time for you to ask for clarity regarding your custom video training.

    Depending on your needs and future goals, I’ll give you some options for working together once this project ends.

  • I want to make this process as easy as possible, which is why I handle the majority of it for you. But I do need some work from you prior to the start date in order to get me all the info I need to build you a great website.

    I recommend budgeting:

    • 2-3 hours before the project starts to collect and share photos, documents, client testimonials, and domain info (if applicable), as well as to fill out a Brand Questionnaire.

    • 90 minutes for out project Kickoff Call and Brand Interview

    • 1-2 hours a week to review copy/branding/design and provide feedback

    • 30 minutes for a Check in Call

    • 60 minutes for our Go Live Call

    • 30 minutes - 1 hour to watch your custom training video and explore your new website

  • I do not recommend using stock images on your website. Finding stock images that are cohesive with your brand is difficult, and I find that stock images can take away from the personality and authenticity of your brand and website.

    If you already have professional brand images, great! If you are planning to hire a photographer for your brand photos, I recommend scheduling your session as soon after our start day as possible so we can discuss what will work best for your website images.

  • Once I transfer ownership of your website over to you, I also give you the rights to the intellectual property.

  • I’m usually based in North Carolina (Eastern Standard Time), but this summer I will be traveling around the country with my husband and working remote. I work with folks nationwide and even in Canada.

  • I am currently accepting projects to start in September 2023!

  • Before our project start date, you will need to send me:

    • Client testimonials
    • Any pertinent legal documents (Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Disclaimers)
    • Files for badges or certifications
    • Professional brand images (or have these schedule for after our start date)
    • Brand Questionnaire
    • Information for your domain (if applicable)
    • Access to third-party integrations (if applicable)

  • During our launch call, I’ll assist you with purchasing your Squarespace account. For your first year, you will get my 20% designer discount, making your first payment to Squarespace $220.80 USD. Squarespace will bill you yearly for $276 USD.

    You will also need to purchase your domain, which is free from Squarespace for the first year and about $20 USD yearly after that.

    If you don’t already have one, you’ll also need to purchase a Privacy Policy for your website. If you need a Privacy Policy (or other legal documents), I recommend The Contract Shop to my clients (that’s my affiliate link!)

  • Yes. A 3-part payment plan is built into my Complete Website Package:

    • 30% deposit to secure your spot on my development schedule
    • 35% on our start date
    • 35% on our end date prior to transfer of ownership
